It exists because SST supervisor documentation and many GC prequalification lists require both (1) OSHA 30 Construction, not General Industry, and (2) proof that the named supervisor completed the hours. Spanish instruction does not relax those rules. Thirty hours, four-day minimum under the 7.5-hour cap, 3.1 IACET CEUs, 70 percent, three retakes, DOL plastic card after processing.
